FYI for anybody interested.. the 12 apostles label over the summer released a limited edition 12" entitled Lord Lucan Is Still Missing as a dedication to peel Around mid 78 he became a great fan of Brighton band the Dodgems and their song Lord Lucan Is Missing.. so we released a 12" this summer with 5 different versions of the song .. Rob da Bank has played it a couple of times. The Dodgems themselves love the way we've updated it and we're sure John would have liked it especially the Stefan Robinson glitch version which makes the original song unrecognizable.
All the info at http://www.12-apostles.com , we tried to give a whole lot to radio 1 to give away on peel day but never got a reply ... sean 12 apostles |

This is a small tribute site for fans of the late John Peel to come and
hang out and share time with others. I have been a fan since the
latter 70's and was deeply saddened by his passing.
The site is still a little quirky as I try and figure out how to use
the CMS software, so please bear with it. I encourage you to
leave me feedback for any trouble spots you find or any improvements
you can suggest. You can register for the site or send me an email at madeofale@peelacres.com. Thanks for stopping by... |
