Just found this site. JP is one person I can say is a hero of mine and definitely moulded my musical tastes. I first heard him play hip hop in 1982.

Currently reading Margrave of the Marshes which has compelled me to send this mail.

His last album, 'Bungalow Hi', is pretty terrific too, though not what you'd necessarily expect it to sound like.

Okay, How about this, Post a track you've heard lately that you came across unexpectedly and really liked, for whatever reason...

The best thing I heard this week was a track by Amy Rigby, http://www.amyrigby.com, called 'Like Rasputin'

Came accross her site after reding the latest blog/news bit on http://www.wrecklesseric.com/news.htm

I realise this would work better if there was an audio link on her site. Oh well...
