Roland, there is a lot of active movement of old shows across the internet. You can find them on some of the P2P sites. Several of us keep ftp sites available too. I suggest you start in the links section of this site and start getting acquanted with the community.

I've put some stuff on some CD's and I'm slowly transferring about 16 cassettes worth of peel sessions from the mid to late seventies.
CD 1 I've called Bits of Peel and its one I put together for Andy Kershaw. It has some music, but mainly snippets of peel chat between tracks.
CD2 is called John Peel Reggae and has him introducing various classic reggae stuff.
CD3 is twenty Peel trailors for the alan freeman programme from 76/77/78. Hilarious stuff with John Walters!

I would love to have some of these off you. If you only have them on tape I would willingly get a copy from you and transfer them to digital so that they can be easily shared with everyone. Please conmtact me and we can i am sure come to a good arrangement. bye |
